POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are presently seeking a Salesforce developer to enhancement, maintain and help design roadmap for our Salesforce system. The position is a highly visible role and a key member of the ISS Information Technology team as Salesforce is a mission critical application supporting sales, client services, marketing, and operation teams impacting abilities to delivery and financial reporting of ISS’s products and services. We are seeking a Developer to help us improve internal systems and their integration. ISS is immediately seeking a Client Service Manager (CSM) to join its global team. Successful candidates will have a financial operations or client service background and exhibit a passion for the governance business. They should also have proven abilities to develop strong working relationships with external clients and learn ISS’ vote agency products in order to guide clients to better use those products/services.

CSMs must be adaptable, eager and efficient problem solvers, and able to lead cross-organization teams. Great communication skills are a must as they represent ISS to all levels of client management. Our clients span some of the world’s largest hedge funds, pension funds and asset managers. Managing the relationships for a portfolio of clients exposes the CSM to a wide range of institution types and ensures a challenging role with daily client interactions. To succeed in the role, a CSM must learn and understand corporate governance and proxy voting services, learn about their client’s line of business, and bring that knowledge together to provide insight, best practices, and workflow efficiencies to those client organizations.

Performance is based on a combination of factors including account renewal rates, client communication, operational efficiency, and contract value growth. The CSM partners with the Sales representative and the client Consultants to bring operational, industry, and product expertise to clients, to effectively own and manage the client experience. This includes serving as the client’s primary contact with the firm, offering support and expertise on corporate governance and proxy voting solutions, liaising with ISS Operations personnel to address client needs, and participating in the client renewal process.

THE ROLE:

  • Document and submit claims for Securities Class Action Service filing clients. Organize daily workload to ensure that required filing deadlines are met

A successful Service Center Analyst is people-orientated and enjoys the challenge of resolving functional/technical questions and/or issues in a timely manner on the phone, through chat vehicles, service portals, and remote connections or in person interactions. The analyst must be able to quickly analyze each situation presented to them to determine the best approach for meeting the business needs while complying with established guidelines and policies. Likewise, the analyst should possess the necessary skills and business knowledge to know when it is appropriate to take a non-standard approach to resolve the issue. POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Compliance Department is based in the ISS headquarters in Rockville, MD.  Compliance is responsible for all compliance matters of the firm, including management of regulatory filings and examinations, development of compliance policies and procedures, working with management to respond to requests for comment by US and offshore regulators, assisting with disclosures made to current and prospective clients, interfacing with internal and external auditors, and on-going monitoring and assessment of firm-wide controls.

Compliance is being expanded to include a team member who will be based Rockville. This new role will assist with Compliance tasks generally, and will involve developing and executing strategies for enhancing ISS’ systems and processes for monitoring, addressing and reporting on potential and actual conflicts of interest.  This includes areas such as monitoring of business firewalls, personal securities trading, outside activities, gifts and entertainment, handling of confidential information, and other potential sources of conflicts. The candidate will need to learn about and understand all aspects of ISS’ business and will interact with ISS personnel at all levels. POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are presently seeking a Software developer to integrate, enhancement, maintain and help design our roadmap for our Corporate Systems. The position is a highly visible role and a key member of the ISS Information Technology team and will have the opportunity to work across various application platforms and business teams including sales, client services, marketing, finance, corporate and operation teams impacting abilities to delivery and financial reporting of ISS’s products and services. This role must be adoptive to various projects and platforms.  The role shall use SQL, SOA & other web service methodologies and J2E to connect our applications and interfaces.  Additionally, this role will be asked to help develop on platforms including Salesforce and Epicor. We are seeking a Developer to help us improve internal systems and their integration. In this role you will be required to interact with business analysts, other developers across IT and business power users to understand their requirements, create design specifications, provide recommendations, prioritize work and develop innovative solutions.  This position is responsible for design, development, testing, and migration their solutions.  The main platform of development comprises J2E, SQL, Java script, API connector development in addition to providing support across our Corporate applications.  This position is also responsible for being able to implement database queries, system integrations, and proper monitoring through best practices are keys to success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
