POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are presently seeking a Salesforce developer to enhancement, maintain and help design roadmap for our Salesforce system. To this end, the team provides clients with tailored reports, including an annual custom policy matrix that captures voting instructions and procedures on proxy issues that are expected to be seen on ballots in the upcoming year, and policy gap analyses to identify areas in client policy that do not effectively address any particular corporate governance issue. The Custom Research team fosters further partnership with clients to fully optimize their corporate governance program by the production of customized board reports that summarize statistics of votes on key proxy proposals, performs research on critical corporate governance topics, statistical and trend analyses, and various ad hoc projects as requested by the client.

ISS Governance Services division, the world’s leading provider of proxy voting and corporate governance solutions, is immediately seeking to fill a research analyst role on its Securities Class Action Services (SCAS) team in Manila. Successful candidates will be analytical, highly self-motivated, and possess a strong desire for excellence in their work. The ideal candidate will have a combination of law and business education and/or work experience, a background in legal research, excellent writing and proofing skills, strong technology skills, and exhibit an interest in securities law. The SCAS research analyst will report directly to the Associate or Senior Associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the SCAS research group in Manila and Rockville, and global markets. Such support includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Perform research on new and existing securities litigation at the state, federal, administrative, and international levels. Such research requires a combination of internet research, utilization of professional research services (such as Westlaw, PACER, and others), and developing and maintaining key constituent contacts with law firms, claims administrators, banks, litigation funders and others both inside and outside the U.S.
  • Extraction of relevant data from research sources and entering such data into the SCAS research system accurately and efficiently.
  • Discussion and analysis of SCAS relevant events and legal developments

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Foster an engaging, proactive and collaborative service delivery department that is closely partnered and clearly communicates with the business and across IT departments.

  • Maintain ongoing communication with customers, keeping them up-to-date with the progress of their tickets. Serve as a liaison between other support teams and the customer as required.
  • Support management of outages as needed providing communications to user and follow up with IT teams, all within established Service Level Agreements
  • Work collaboratively with 2nd/3rd level support team to ensure that customers receive timely service
  • Document IT support procedures as directed.
  • Supports the service centers call answering, logging and ensures customer service are of the highest quality.
  • Support communications to IT and ISS business groups on notifications involving updates, outages, new enhancements, and ‘how-tos’.
  • Delivers technology education services including training / documentation online and offline.
  • Establishes communication templates and provide regular communications presence to customers across the organization, especially during service outages.
