Takeyuki Ishida is the Head of Japanese Research and Asia. Based in Tokyo, he has 20 years of experience in Japanese corporate governance issues and is a widely recognized authority on governance.
Prior to joining ISS, Takeyuki served as Research Analyst at the Washington-based Investor Responsibility Research Center where he covered Japanese corporate governance developments and shareholder meetings. He participated in the Working Group of Japan’s Financial Services Agency (FSA) that drafted Japan’s Principles for Responsible Institutional Investors (the Japanese Stewardship Code) and is also a member of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s corporate governance study group. He is a Chartered Member of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan.
Takeyuki holds a Master of Arts in International Affairs from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
