September 25, 2020 marks the 5th anniversary of the international agreement that established the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In the past five years, the SDGs have become an important framework for the global community, guiding priorities for sustainable action until 2030. Critically, and in contrast to previous efforts in this area, businesses are expressly called upon to contribute to the achievement of the goals.
