Growing With EVA
The Single Measure of Growth That Matters To All Equity Investment Styles
More EVA Is always better. By measuring the growth of total EVA when evaluating a firm, investors have one single measure that directly correlates to total shareholder return. The EVA Framework allows investors to measure the growth of EVA tied to fundamental performance and evaluate the trade off between the Quality of a firms assets and the Valuation being paid in the market today.
EVA is an established standard in measuring, analyzing, projecting, and discounting a firm’s underlying economic profit rather than its accounting profit. In doing so EVA generates a score for every firm in its universe (+15,000) called PRVit (pronounced “Prove It”) that is comprised of a Performance (P) score, Risk (R) score, and a Valuation (V) score. The ranking works to measure the trade-off between the Risk adjusted Quality of a firms assets, and the Valuation being paid in the market.
This 60 minute seminar allows EVA’s Global Director of Equity Research Timothy Stanish to dig into the methodology and why, as investors, its critically important to understand EVA and all the platform and methodology have to offer.
