Investors in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region are increasingly taking note of climate related issues. While investors are keen on making investment decisions responsibly they should also be prepared for the evolving regulatory changes and requirements in the APAC region. Many governments in the APAC region have issued whitepapers and circulars referencing the Taskforce on climate-related Financial Disclosures’ (TCFD) framework to request financial institutions to evaluate the climate risks impact by running stress testing or scenario analysis and make transparency disclosures to their investors.
